Web Application Developer

Requirements:

• Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5 years experience from a top tier school required.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, including test driven development, scrum, and paired programming.
• Excellent written communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency building rich internet applications using ExtJS or equivalent JavaScript frameworks e.g. JQuery, Dojo, GWT, etc.
• Proficiency with Java and PHP as well as application architecture and design in a high performance environment required.
• Experience with massively scalable, high availability web applications critical.
• Proficiency with DBMS systems e.g. MySQL, XML and Red Hat Linux preferred.
• Our architecture is object based, so a solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts and principles is a must.
• Some experience with other languages such as C#, .NET, etc. would be beneficial.
• If called for an interview, candidates must provide samples of their work so that we can evaluate style, proficiency, etc.
• Position can be based in Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, San Jose, CA or New York, NY.
